Job summary

The Centerboard in Salem, MA is seeking a Program Staff Supervisor to provide onsite assistance to program residents in the Emergency Assistance Housing Program and to supervise Direct Care staff.

This full-time role involves maintaining safety, supervising shifts (three 4:00 PM–12:00 AM and two 12:00 AM–8:00 AM), coordinating with maintenance, and ensuring adherence to program protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or some college) required.
• Minimum two years' experience in housing services or residential programs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and monitor safety across shifts.
• Complete shift and incident reports for each shift.
• Monitor security systems and entry/exit procedures.
• Supervise Direct Care staff and approve timecards.
• Respond to emergencies and support evacuation drills.
• Coordinate with maintenance and landlords as needed.
