Responsibilities

• Asks incoming communications for emergencies and non-emergencies and controls conversations until responders arrive.
• Determines appropriate level of emergency response based on information and laws.
• Transmits information to staff, agencies, and systems using correct terms and methods.
• Maintains records and status of incidents in compliance with laws and policies.
• Responds to emergency communications during disasters and critical incidents.
