Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Protective Services Dispatcher for Springfield Regional Medical Center. You will manage emergency and non-emergency calls and operate a multi-channel radio system to support hospital security operations.

Under supervision, you will coordinate units, monitor alarms, and maintain detailed logs. The role requires strong typing, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years in security and/or dispatch preferred.
• Strong typing and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, coordinate, and disseminate information from emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Dispatch personnel and monitor alarms and CCTV as needed.
• Maintain logs and communicate with outside agencies as required.
• Operate radio and dispatch systems and ensure timely responses.
