Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with computer terminals and multi-line telephone systems.
• Must pass hearing and drug/alcohol tests.
• Typing test results required with application.

Responsibilities

• Operate radio, teletype, computer and multi-line telephone equipment.
• Interview callers to determine the problem and relay information through CAD/NCIC.
• Update CAD/NCIC records and assist other operators as required.
• Maintain data accuracy and dispatch resources to scenes.
• Work day or night shifts, including holidays, subject to union rules.
