Job summary

Jerry's Towing & Recovery, Inc. is seeking a professional Dispatcher to handle emergency and non‑emergency calls, document caller information, and coordinate rapid responses.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask, and perform well under pressure. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, prior dispatch experience, excellent typing and communication skills, and a solid understanding of emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent typing and data entry skills.
• Understanding of emergency response procedures and best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Highly organized with multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Collect and document information from callers accurately.
• Prioritize calls based on urgency and safety considerations.
• Transmit information to the appropriate person or department.
• Direct response units to the correct locations.
• Monitor status of response teams and update stakeholders.
