Job summary

Your responsibilities include collecting patient data, assisting with splints, casts, CPR during emergencies, and preparing patient charts for admissions. Excellent teamwork and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records routine patient data to ensure accuracy of the patient chart.
• Performs basic patient care activities under supervision, including applying splints/casts and assisting in CPR during cardiac arrest management.
• Assembles patient charts for new admissions and enters admission orders and demographics as needed.
• Identifies unusual findings and reports to supervising healthcare professional for timely intervention.
• Maintains inventory of stock items, supplies, and equipment for unit operations.
• Obtains blood specimens by physician order or per protocol and assists in delivering lab specimens.
• Participates in in-service programs and daily care rounds to stay updated on care plans.
• Maintains the unit environment and provides orientation to patients and families on unit policies.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
