Job summary

Qualifications

• Patient care experience.
• Will consider LNA/CNA, EMT certifications or completion of nursing-skills portion of accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record routine patient data to ensure accurate charts.
• Assist in basic patient care tasks, including applying splints, casts, and other devices; assist in CPR during cardiac arrest.
• Assemble patient charts for admissions and enter orders and demographics.
• Identify and report unusual findings or symptoms to healthcare staff.
• Maintain inventory of stock items, supplies, and equipment on the unit.
• Obtain blood specimens as ordered and deliver to the lab as requested.
