Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support the RN in charge and assist with daily living activities for non-critical patients.

This role requires a high school diploma, EMT or CNA certification, BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and preferred experience in acute care. Night shift, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EMT Certification or CNA certification required on hire.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months experience in acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Support maintaining a safe environment under RN supervision.
