Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA is seeking an Emergency Services Technician to support patient care and assist with clinical procedures. You will work with a team of practitioners to ensure safe, high‑quality care and positive patient experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Washington CNA/NA-R/MA-P/MA-C or EMT training, BLS certification, and prior emergency department or acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Washington state CNA/NA-R/MA-P/MA-C or EMT certification/training required.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and costs.
