Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an Emergency Department nurse to provide high-quality care during the initial phase of acute illness or trauma in a 24/7 setting at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. You will triage, assess, and stabilize patients, coordinating care with the team to ensure safe discharges or transfers.

The role requires Missouri RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, ENPC, TNCC, and NRC within specified timelines. Enjoy shift-based night coverage with benefits and career ladder opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• ACLS within one year of hire
• PALS within one year of hire
• ENPC within 12 months of hire
• TNCC within 12 months of hire
• NRC within one year of hire, then every two years

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department for patients of all ages.
• Triage and determine priority of care based on needs and patient flow.
• Stabilize patients, initiate treatment, and coordinate discharge or transfer if needed.
