Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Health – Lake Pointe is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. The unit serves adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a Level 3 trauma center with strong teamwork and a focus on learning.

You will assess patients, create care plans, educate families, and coordinate with physicians and support staff while complying with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and active.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• ED RN experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain BLS within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Document care and maintain EMR records.
• Prioritize safety and deliver compassionate care.
