Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Temple is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department to join our Level 1 Trauma Center team. This full-time night shift (7p-7a) offers a fast-paced environment with high acuity and a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient care.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, care planning, and collaboration with ED providers, social workers, and support staff to deliver safe, efficient care and improve patient outcomes in both adult and pediatric populations.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• 1 year ER RN experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Assess, identify nursing diagnoses, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with ED Providers, Social Workers and support teams.
• Deliver age-specific, patient-centered care in a high-acuity ED.
• Ensure safe transitions and apply professional nursing standards.
