Job summary

Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, a Level 3 trauma center with about 100 patients daily in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will perform detailed assessments, create and adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care while navigating shift rotations (9am-9pm, 12pm-12am, 1pm-1am) and weekend coverage (6 weekends in 6 weeks) with 1:4-5 patient

Qualifications

• RN license and accredited program graduate required.
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department RN experience.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• TNCC certification or obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• ENPC certification or obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans; adjust plans to reach outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members; assess learning needs.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly with the care team.
• Collaborate with colleagues and community to develop and update care plans.

2+ years ED RN experience

Grad of Accredited Program

RN License
