Baylor Scott & White Health – Lake Pointe Rowlett is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
You will assess patients, develop care plans, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Must have 2+ years in an Emergency Department, RN license, BLS; TNCC/ENPC preferred. Our unit is Level 3 trauma, chest pain and stroke accredited, with around 20–30 EMS ambulances daily.

Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric | Fast Paced, high volume environment
Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
Number of Beds: 20
Evening shifts: Vary 9am-9pm, 12pm-12am, 1pm-1am | 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks. Friday/saturday counts for nights, Saturday/sunday counts for days.
Experience: Candidates MUST have minimum of 2yrs of true, recent Emergency Department RN experience
Our Emergency Department unit is a Level 3 trauma center, Chest pain accredited centre, stroke receiving centre, average 100 patients per day, around 20-30 EMS ambulances per day.

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
