Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health – Lake Pointe Rowlett is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Must have 2+ years in an Emergency Department, RN license, BLS; TNCC/ENPC preferred. Our unit is Level 3 trauma, chest pain and stroke accredited, with around 20–30 EMS ambulances daily.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license active and in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• TNCC certification (or obtain within 18 months of hire).
• ENPC certification (or obtain within 18 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care with assessments and care plans.
• Assess patient needs, recognize issues, and respond with plans.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, effective care.
• Maintain safety and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
