Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacist for the Emergency Department team in Boston. You will provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for ED patients and those boarded in the ED, with opportunities to cross-cover ICU as needed.

Qualifications

• PGY1 plus 1–3 years or PGY2 or 3–5 years of experience in a clinical specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and verifies medication orders with patient-specific parameters (diagnosis, weight, age, allergies, labs, interactions).
• Supervises students, technicians and residents in the pharmacist area of practice.
• Provides drug information to physicians, nurses and other health care professionals.
