Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Review and verify medication orders with patient-specific parameters.
• Supervise students, technicians and residents; ensure accuracy of compounded products.
• Promote patient safety by reporting medication events and near misses.
• Lead departmental initiatives, formulary stewardship and drug utilization reviews.
