Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with leadership experience to perform venous access and infusion therapies in an acute care setting. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and educate patients while mentoring staff to uphold high clinical standards.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Work details include 2 charge nurse shifts and a regular weekend schedule at a Kansas facility.

Qualifications

1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience.
1+ nursing experience within the acute care setting.
Clinical licensure requirements and ongoing certifications may apply.

Responsibilities

Perform venous access procedures within RN licensure and ensure patient safety.
Administer and monitor infusion therapy with appropriate care plans.
Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance.
