Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio is seeking an Emergency Department Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

The role focuses on data entry, coordinating unit activities, and ensuring supplies for timely interventions; the ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, Nurse Aide Training, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completed Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Ability to read/communicate in English and hold current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information/registration and physician orders in the electronic system.
• Coordinate unit activities and ensure necessary supplies for patient care.
• Communicate openly with patients, families, and team to support interventions.
• Assist RN/LPN with patient physical and emotional needs on the unit.
• Assist in carrying out treatments and procedures as directed.
