Qualifications

• Shows competency in essential psychomotor nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides strong leadership and motivation for staff on the assigned shift.
• Recruits, interviews, coaches and develops direct reports; applies corrective actions.
• Staffing duties within scheduling guidelines.
• Provides direct patient care as defined by the state nurse practice act.
• Documents accurately in patient and department records.
• Participates in system-wide quality improvement activities and outcomes review.
