Job summary

Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a part-time Night Shift Lead Nurse for the Emergency Department at Flint Hills. The role focuses on promoting teamwork, coaching, and throughput coordination to ensure timely and quality patient care.

You will supervise staff, provide direct bedside nursing care as needed, and participate in unit quality initiatives within a shared governance framework.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 2+ years in acute care.
• KS RN license required or multi-state license accepted.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and triage under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per RN scope and standards.
• Lead the Emergency Department shift, delegate tasks, and supervise staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document appropriately.
• Coordinate throughput and capacity management across the department.
