Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking a Registered Nurse - Charge to supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensure safe, quality patient care in the Emergency Department setting.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an active RN license, and BCLS; ACLS/PALS and TNCC are preferred. The candidate will coordinate staffing, manage patient assignments, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
• Determines staffing levels and assignments based on availability and workflow.
• Provides direct patient care as needed and may take patient assignments.
• Floats between staff to assist with problem-solving.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
