Job summary
AdventHealth Tarpon Springs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will assess patients, analyze data, identify outcomes, and collaborate with families and the healthcare team to deliver holistic, evidence-based care.
Requires Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred. ED RN experience is required; charge nurse experience preferred. Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC preferred. Day, full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Emergency Department nursing experience is required.
- Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to gather health data.
- Analyzes assessment data to formulate accurate nursing diagnoses.
- Develops individualized care plans to achieve identified outcomes.
- Implements nursing interventions to address patient needs and care plan goals.
- Evaluates effectiveness of interventions and progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborates with patients, families and healthcare team members.
- Documents nursing process accurately and timely.
- Ensures compliance with legal, ethical and regulatory standards.
- Engages in quality improvement activities.
