Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The role plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies and will assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acts as point of contact for physicians and administrators.
• Assists with procedures and checks orders.
• Responsible for daily QC and equipment checks on unit.
• Interfaces with Care Coordinator and discharge planning.
• Rounds on patients and family members at regular intervals.
