Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an experienced RN to coordinate staffing in the Emergency Department, providing leadership and ensuring delivery of quality patient care. You will assign and monitor nursing staff, assess daily patient needs, and contribute to staff development.

Licensure as an RN in Alabama is required, with BLS certification due within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS may be required for certain units within six months. Diploma in nursing is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama required.
• BLS Provider certified within 1 month of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership.
• Assign, direct, educate and monitor staff during shift; participate in performance evaluations.
