Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Center at Grosse Pointe Hospital in Michigan. The RN will work night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., and be scheduled for 24 hours per week.

The role emphasizes patient-family centered care, collaboration with the care team, and adherence to nursing policies to ensure quality outcomes for diverse patients in a level 3 emergency setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one year experience.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• BLS required upon hire/transfer.
• ACLS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year; ENPC within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient/family centered care.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and health care team to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Educate patients and families; document education and care in the health record.
