• Ability to work in a busy, emotionally charged acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergent, urgent, transfer and admission access to the ED.
• Educate and support patients and families while in the emergency department.
• Manage insurance information, follow-up scheduling and ADT transfer functions.
• Interview patients at the bedside in collaboration with clinicians to facilitate care and payment processes.
• Navigate multiple information systems to support ED operations in a fast-paced setting.
