Responsabilités

• Answers multi-line phones promptly and courteously.
• Maintains and organizes patient records in the EMR.
• Orders and tracks departmental supplies.
• Coordinates transport for transfers to higher levels of care.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Supports admitting processes and processes patient registrations in the EMR.
• Answers EMS radio and communicates with ED clinicians.
• Assists with admitting process for inpatient/observation or surgery admissions.
