Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Unit Assistant to provide a wide range of support services, including clerical tasks, patient care within defined practice scope, and facilitation of communications. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse and serve adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients across units.

Responsibilities include gathering basic patient data, assisting with activities of daily living, utilizing the EMR, and ensuring patient

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED, or high school transcript showing completion of at least the sophomore level.
• No previous experience required; PCT Academy in-house training program available for eligible candidates.
• CNA certification active or enrollment in NGHS training pathway is preferred.

Mansioni

• Obtain and report basic patient physiological data (vital signs, weight, etc.).
• Provide mobility, hygiene, and comfort support per procedure and direction.
• Monitor input/output and document accordingly.
• Respond to patient calls and alerts; communicate needs to licensed staff.
• Assist with routine patient care and transport; maintain patient safety and privacy.
