Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an Emergency Department Technician at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, Maine, for full-time night shifts. This role supports ED clinicians and ensures patient care needs are met in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible candidates include EMT-P, EMT-A, EMT-B, LPN, or CNA; a current BLS certification is required or to be obtained within 30 days of start. Sign-on bonuses apply and vary by experience.

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Emergency Department Techs

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time positions. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High School graduate or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: EMT-P, EMT-A, EMT-B, LPN, or CNA license required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
