Advocate Health in Oshkosh seeks a casual, part-time Medical Assistant to support physicians and the health care team in the Emergency Department. You will access patient information, coordinate tests, and help facilitate timely patient care across departments.

This role covers various shifts including weekdays and weekends. A High School Diploma is required, and BLS certification must be obtained within six months. Pay ranges from $21.85 to $32.80 per hour.

Qualificações

• High School diploma required.
• Typically requires 1 year experience.
• BLS certification within 6 months unless leader determines not required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians and health care team with access to patient information and documentation systems.
• Coordinate tests and treatments across departments; document appropriately.
• Facilitate communications via multi-line phones, paging, and hospital systems.
• Assist with ordering patient and unit supplies and processing daily charges.
• Support patient care by phlebotomy, transporting, vitals monitoring, and basic procedures.
