Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics seeks an Emergency Department Tech (ED Tech) for its new off-campus ED in Lynnwood. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, performing point-of-care testing and obtaining blood samples in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR certification, and an active NAC/NAR/MA-P license or ability to obtain within 90 days. One year of health care experience is preferred; EKG knowledge and computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification required upon hire.
• Requires active licensure at hire (NAC, NAR, or MA-P) with remaining license obtained within 90 days.
• Minimum of one year recent experience in health care with patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred; computer familiarity and record keeping expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform waived and moderately complex point-of-care testing and collect blood samples.
