Qualifications

• Hospital or healthcare experience required or preferred.
• Experience with data entry or word processing is preferred.
• Experience providing patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record routine patient data to ensure accurate charts and ready information.
• Perform basic patient care activities to support comfort and safety.
• Identify and report unusual findings to healthcare professionals for timely intervention.
• Maintain stock levels of unit supplies and assist with filing and photocopying.
• Participate in in-service programs and care rounds to stay updated on care plans.
• Assist in maintaining the unit environment and perform related tasks as needed.
• Greet patients and families, answer calls, and orient them to unit policies and processes.
• Assemble patient charts for admissions and update demographic data as needed.
• Update orders and transfer charts to Health Information Management; keep chart locator data accurate.
