Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care - Georgetown is seeking a Nursing Assistant II (Emergency Department Technician) to join the ED team in Georgetown, KY. You will work under the supervision of the ED RN, contribute to patient care, patient flow, and specimen handling in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification, and BLS with a 30-day attainment window.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or equivalent clinical training.
• BLS certification required; must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in laboratory, data entry, phlebotomy or related screenings preferred.
• Previous laboratory or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED RN and care team to manage patient flow and care.
• Provide direct patient care and maintain safety and cleanliness of the unit.
• Collect, transport, and process specimens per hospital policy; assist with lab testing as needed.
• Support communication with patients and families and document care activities.
