Baptist Health Hamburg in Lexington, KY is seeking a Nursing Assistant II (Emergency Department Technician) to support the ED team under the supervision of the ED RN. You will assist with patient care, maintain department flow, and ensure accurate specimen handling.

This full-time, first-shift role requires a high school diploma, Kentucky Nurse Aide certification, and BLS. The ED emphasizes teamwork and compassionate care in a 24/7, modern environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or completion of first year nursing clinicals and validation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must obtain within 30 days if not already.

Responsibilities

• Functions within the ED team under direction of the ED RN.
• Demonstrates communication and coordination of patient care and department flow.
• Maintains computer systems for assigned duties and supports workflow.
• Assists with specimen collection, processing and transport per policy.
