Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or clinical equivalent per education level.
• BLS certification required; must obtain within 30 days if not certified.
• Experience in laboratory or customer service preferred.
• Data entry and computer experience; phlebotomy or point-of-care testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED team under RN supervision and provide bedside care.
• Collect, process and transport specimens per policy.
• Maintain patient area and workflow to support ED operations.
