Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA, is seeking an ED Technician to assist in delivering compassionate nursing care under RN supervision in the Emergency Department.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and strong communication and organizational skills; prior nursing assistant experience preferred.

You will work about 24 hours per week, with emphasis on patient age-specific needs and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to assist in providing care to patients; all approaches to a patient are sensitive to the patient’s age, culture and potential disability.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
• Must visibly demonstrate commitment to customer relations and all basic concepts of continuous quality improvement and preventing error from reaching the patient.

Responsibilities

• Assists in rendering nursing care in the ED under the direction of a professional registered nurse.
