Corewell Health in Grand Rapids seeks an ED Flex Social Work role covering pediatric and adult patients across Butterworth, Blodgett, and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. You will work a fixed every-other weekend rotation, 1:00 pm–1:30 am, with variable assignments and strong care coordination duties.
Responsibilities include coordinating care management and behavioral health interventions, developing cost-effective care strategies, and collaborating with families to support health decisions.
About our ED Flex Role This flex role includes coverage in Emergency Departments at Butterworth, Blodgett and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Staffing and caseload needs will determine where coverage is focused and overall coverage may flex throughout the shift. This role allows the ability to work with both pediatric and adult patients in a variety of capacities to meet their psychosocial needs during emergency department visits. This position will be a fixed every other weekend (Saturday + Sunday) rotation with work hours of 1:00 pm - 1:30 am. Work location/assignments will be variable, and assignments may change at any time prior and during your scheduled shift.
