Job summary

A-Team Solutions is seeking Registered Nurses- ED for full-time positions at the VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. Shifts available day or midshift. The RN provides care to Veterans with acute medical problems and triages to PES as needed.

Qualifications include RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of critical care or emergency medicine experience within the past 5 years. Computer literacy and full licensure required.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 1 year of critical care or emergency medicine experience in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN-level care in the Emergency Department for Veterans.
• Triage and refer to Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) when needed.
• Coordinate referrals to primary care for long-term care needs.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation.
