Job summary

Nexus MedPro Staffing seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a local contract at the Miami VA Medical Center in Miami, Florida. The role involves rapid-response ED care for Veterans, with collaboration across physicians and care teams.

Requirements include a Florida RN license, ACEN/CCNE accreditation for every degree, BLS, and facility-specific certifications. Start: Oct 26, 2026; End: May 11, 2027; 28-week assignment; Night shift 7:30 PM–8:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• Experience in Emergency Department/ER
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and other emergency certifications as required by facility

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with acute physical and psychological conditions.
• Perform emergency assessments, triage, stabilization, and monitoring.
• Administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IM, IV) and blood products as ordered.
• Insert and maintain peripheral IV lines; assist with central-line care.
