Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Full-time 36 hours/week, day shift, 7:00 am–7:00 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Must have an Associate’s degree in Nursing and CT RN license; ED experience preferred. BLS/CPR required; ACLS/TNCC preferred with post-hire training. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.
• 1+ year of Emergency Department nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in didactic learning sessions, including simulation lab.
• Apply critical thinking to manage high-acuity and complex patients.
• Pursue trauma nurse certification with opportunities for Level 2 Trauma Center growth.
