Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a per diem night shift. The role combines direct patient care with clinical leadership responsibilities, supporting physicians and the nursing team.

You will perform rapid assessments, coordinate patient care, and participate in staff hiring decisions. The UHS system offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career development within a large multi-hospital network.

Formación

• 2 years ED experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BCLS Certification current.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months.
• ENPC and TNCC optional.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, and adjusts nursing care.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments across age groups per policy.
• Assesses and educates about pain management for patients and families.
• Uses triage to ensure timely, appropriate care and category assignment.
