Job summary

West Anaheim Medical Center is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Emergency Department and Telemetry units. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications, with experience in acute care/E.R. settings preferred.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family teaching, and maintaining privacy and confidentiality. The shift is variable, with per diem employment status.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and ED.
• Direct patient care and family teaching under physician direction.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
