Job summary

Adventist Health Selma is seeking an RN to deliver coordinated nursing care in a per-diem role within the Emergency Department. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate care with other disciplines, and use critical thinking to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Preferred BSN and acute care experience. Active RN license in CA, CPR/BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications required as per policy. Shift is day, 12 hours, per diem with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• BLS certification is required per AH policy.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• NRP or ARC-NALS: Required

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant patient health data and analyzes it to plan care.
• Collaborates with patient, family and healthcare team to provide safe, humane care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates tasks and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
