Job summary

Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME is hiring a Registered Nurse 2 for a full-time night shift (36 hours/week), weekends only, with overnight Fri–Sun 19:00–07:00. The Emergency Department runs 24/7 with 13 beds and a behavioral health area, delivering high‑quality care to adults, pediatrics and critical patients.

The RN role includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient outcomes within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Maine or compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS within 1 year of start date.
• NRP certification within 1 year for OB/NICU per dept guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced ED.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document care and coordinate with units for patient flow.
