Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Maine or authorization to practice pending licensure by endorsement.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BCLS; ACLS and PALS within six months of hire date.
• 2 years minimum experience preferred; excellent assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate care for patients.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Document care and patient responses; inform physicians of status changes.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety and compliance policies.
