Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Graduate of State Certified Program or 1 year clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients across age groups.
• Maintain patient safety and a clean, functional environment.
• Document accurately in the patient’s medical record and report changes to RN.
• Transport patients and supplies within the unit as needed.
• Admit/transfer patients and provide comfort supplies and orientation as required.
