Harris Regional Hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Manager (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time, salaried role may include weekends, overtime, nights and holidays as needed to support a fast-paced ED with a 14-bed unit and 5:1 ratio.

You will lead nursing staff, oversee scheduling, budgets, and quality of care while ensuring regulatory compliance and staff development. Salary and benefits accompany a mission-driven work environment within Lifepoint Health.

Qualificações

• Active North Carolina or compact RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• Minimum overnight travel up to 10% by land and/or air.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives aligned with organizational strategy.
• Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, scheduling, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations; justify needs for systems/equipment purchases.
• Coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments; provide patient care when necessary.
• Hire, train, develop and review staff; administer corrective action as needed.
