  • Proficiency with EHR systems and hospital management software.

Emergency Department RN Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department RN Manager to lead our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient care delivery
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional development and maintain high standards of practice
  • Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and hospital administration to coordinate patient care and department activities
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies
  • Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and budget to optimize department efficiency
  • Address patient and family concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators
  • Facilitate staff training, continuing education, and emergency preparedness protocols
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license with current state licensure
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of emergency department operations, healthcare regulations, and safety standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and hospital management software
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • TNCC certification a plus, must acquire with in 6 months of hire
