Morgan Medical Center in Morgan County, GA seeks an Emergency Department RN Manager to lead the ED team, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, a BSN or higher preferred, 3–5 years in emergency nursing with leadership, ACLS and PALS; TNCC is a plus with six months to obtain. This role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN license (state) required.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• 3–5 years in emergency nursing with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ED operations, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and hospital management software.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• TNCC certification a plus; to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the emergency department and ensure smooth workflow.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote development and high standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and administration to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and policies.
• Manage staffing schedules, resources, and budget for department efficiency.
• Address patient and family concerns to maintain a positive experience.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor KPIs.
• Facilitate staff training and emergency preparedness protocols.
